Scope:
This is a 1.5 day classroom refresher training and assessment course. This course is required to be taken every 5 years for anyone holding an advanced fire fighting certification WITHOUT 360 days of qualifying sea service in the previous 5 years to meet Section A-VI/3 and Table A-VI/3 of the STCW Code, as amended 2010, and 46 CFR 11.201(h)(l), and 11.303(e).
A mariner who successfully completes the course will satisfy the Advanced Fire Fighting training revalidation requirements of STCW Code Section A-VI/3 and 46 CFR 11.201(h)(1), and 11.303(e).
